Hume Robotics collects personal information from parents (name, email, phone, commuting area) and limited information about students (name, grade, school, prior programming experience, interests) to facilitate enrollment in our courses.
What we collect
- Parent: name, email (from Google sign-in), phone number, commuting area.
- Student: name, grade level, school name (optional), prior programming experience, written interests (optional).
How we use it
- To process and confirm course enrollment.
- To send transactional emails (confirmations, payment instructions, class logistics).
- To plan cohort logistics (e.g., commuting area informs class location).
How we protect it
Data is stored in Supabase (Postgres) with row-level security. Only Hume Robotics staff can access enrollment records. We never sell or share personal information with third parties.
Children's information
We collect minimal information about children, provided by their parent or guardian, solely for the purpose of facilitating their participation in our courses. We do not market directly to children.
